    After update software update 003.009.000.001 cam module not working any more

    After update software update 003.009.000.001 cam module not working any more,

    My philips tv after software update 003.009.000.001, says it isnt compatible with Ci module from ziggo?

    Please help it has always worked fine untill this update!!!!!!

    I have same or similar issue. After the software update my TV tells me it is no longer CI compatble. Ziggo not working.

    I also did the 'cold start'.... But no luck.

    Phillips, please can you resolve this issue asap, am very frustrated by all this.

    No it is working fine again, i just had to install the old software.

    But in my case the download doesn't work.

    I just contacted the helpdesk again - they said they are having server problems and hope to resolve it in the course of today.

    A fine mess!

    I have been on touch with the Benelux support teams regarding this issue with Ziggo CAM modules.

    Please contact your local TV support again and refer to the article ID 1764 regarding updating the CAM modules.

    I called the helpdesk this morning: they said the server problems would be resolved in the course of today.

    I called hem tonight: they said they send me a new link to download the software.

    But I did not receive a new email and the old link is still not working.


    Philips: you messed up my TV and now you do not help me to resolve it and you show you can not get a lousy 150 MB piece of software on a website for me to download?

    Where are your technical skills? wher your customer focussed staff?

    I'm quite surprised at this. Did you reference the article ID 1764?

    Could you please give me your customer contact reference number so I can look into this? The reference number should be listed in any email subject line, that you have received from customer service.

    As far as the refernce number concerned: in the subject line of the email its says:

    RE: cam module [#1791879]

    I checked just now - but I still can not download the file.

    You would need to contact your local customer service team as troubleshooting in regards to your specific issue would need to be performed before a downgrade work around would be considered.
