Some movies keep stopping after 20mins when played via USB on 55PFL5507H/12

    Hi,

I ripped some Blue-Ray movies onto a hard drive to play on the TV in the lounge via the USB (the PS3 is connected to another TV in the playroom), some of them play okay, others stop after about 20 mins.

I can't find any reason of why they stop, I've checked the bitrate and all are under the max 20mbps.

    does anyone have any ideas?

    TIA

    L

    Hi Yorkshire Rose,

There could be any number of reason why you are having trouble with some of these files. Ripped files are very hard to troubleshoot as it can be down to a number of things.

I would advise that you update your computer's codec and try to rip the problematic files again.

    Best regards,
    Ina

    Hi paquirri80,

Is this via network or USB playback?

If via network, does the same issue occur via USB also?

Could you give more info about the bit rate and video codec of the files?

    Best regards,
    Ina
