Bluetooth static with a litte sound behind the noise Fidelio E5

Hi. I am experiencing some big problems with my bluetooth device.
There is no problem connecting to the speakers, but when I try to play music I get loud static.
I can almost just hear a little of the music behind the static.

Im connecting with a Sony Xperia Z2 phone.

The reason I bought the speakers was the bluetooth connectivity!

I have tried with several other devices. Other devices works fine.

The Xperia Z2 works perfectly on other bluetooth devices. So there is some sort of incompatibilty here.
Does Philips Fidelio E5 support APTX?
Is ther any settings that can be tweeked or any other reason I only hear static?

I can hear some static when no music is played. But just a little. The real noise comes with playing music and also follows the volume on the speaker.

    Hi,

E5 does support aptX. Is your Android the latest version and the phone been rebooted after update?

Have you tried forgetting the E5 speakers and then pairing again?

    Kind regards,

I have the same problem. I got the Sony Xperia Z2 phone and tried to use it with the Fidelio E5 and its really bad. Same as the TS said. I restarted the phone and tried all sorts of things but cant get it to work like it should have.

I bought the Fidelio E5 2day specially cause of the NFC on it and it being in my living room the easy way to play my music in it. But sofar its been a disapointment.
