Multimedia (.jpg) 46PFL8605M
My 46PFL8605M/08 (now updated with last FW available, n°47 ) doesn't display (and never did) any .jpg from any USB devices/SD. Video and MP3s are instead OK.
The jpg folders and .jpg files are listed, the jpg files info are displayed (size, shot data, etc) but then, when starting the visualization, an error message appears: "impossible to find the file or display"
Tried with different USB devices, different devices formatting (FAT16/FAT32/NTFS), different image sizes, shots from various camera models, different folders structure (even no folders), but no way to get the pictures displayed by the 46PFL8605M/08.
By the way, same USB content (jpg) is perfectly displayed on other TV sets, including Philips, also basic and older models.
It's quite a serious (and annoying) bug, please help.

Hi Maurizio_,
Have any of these files been edited?
Have you tried to place just of the files in the root directory of an otherwise empty USB stick?
It appears it could perhaps have something to do with the file directory. Did you copy the folders over to the USB from a computer or create then in the drive directly?
Have you tried to format the USB devices? If yes, which format? FAT, FAT32, NTFS?
Best regards,

Thank You for help, Ina.
Yes, I placed some images also in the root directory of the same pendrive used to update (successfully) the firmware, hoping it helped to fix the problem (no change).
Yes, I tried different devices and formats. (video are played fine)
Yes, I tried both unedited image files (simple jpeg camera shots, Canon and Samsung) and with files generated by Photoshop, saved with and without metadata (in case metadata could be the problem).
As I already pointed out, image files are correctly detected (as well as folders) but the TV is unable to open them and thus they are not displayed.
