    Songbird playlist on to device issues

    I recently bought the SA4VDA GoGear and have been trying to get music onto it. I managed to get music onto it as it imported my music library from iTunes except the issue I'm having is that no playlists are being carried over to the device, just the songs.

    I've already read up quite a bit on various things how songbird is dead, tried other alternatives but my device was no supported on them so I had to come back to songbird.

    I can't seem to find a way to get playlists added to my GoGear and when I do listen to my music I have to go through the hassle of looking for individual songs whereas I used to simply listen to my selected playlists I created on my previous iPod.

    Did some googling and saw different things on the issue;

    https://getsatisfaction.com/philips/...ith_the_player is the same issue but is outdated as it was 3 years ago and I'm sure things have changed, such as the MTP/MSC mode in settings which doesn't even exist in songbird 2.6.1 current version I am using. So that link didn't help.

    So I'm not sure if it is even possible to create playlists in songbird to carry over to the SA4VDA GoGear.

    Since I can't do it in songbird, I've also wondered if I could manually do it through the files within the playlist folder itself of the storage device.

    edit:

    here is also an image that shows no playlist being added.

    1. Make playlist in the playlist section
    2. Go to devices, click music, sync music to device, only select that new playlist (TESTTT)
    3a. Click sync.

    3b. Even tried dragging playlist TESTTT to the device to manually drop it in. Still nothing.

    Tried, and still nothing. Feels like this product simply does not work properly with songbird. Playlist is a feature that does not work with songbird. All it can do is copy over songs. Playlists is a complete mystery to it.

    I can manually use the device to create "on the go" playlists but that is limited and cumbersome to work with.

    edit: it's fine, no more help needed. I've come to the conclusion that this product I have is just complete garbage after trying to research up about it a little more. Others have similiar issues. I'll just use it as a radio.
