Lightbulb Use of Simply Share in a hotel environment

Hello, apologies if I've posted in the wrong area.

I am implementing Philips Hospitality model TV's in hotels, HFL5008 and 7108 TV's in Australia. I want to offer your simply share to the guest I want to know how this can be done. From what I understand the app detects TV's around it, so in effect could control/send photos or movies to a TV in the next room. Is there a pin or code that can be activated that is unique to that TV? Does the code change frequently or not; if it is buried deep in the TV menus then we could advise the guest in another way what the code for their TV is, and then they can use simply share.

    Thanks very much

    Greg

    Hi,

are you talking about a Smartphone App?

In general Simplyshare can be 2 Things:

1st Part of an Smartphone App called myremote
2nd a technology to transmit Media from a 3rd Party Device to the TV
(Can be PC, or Smartphone or Tablet etc)

Hi Thomas thanks for your reply.

The app I have is the MYREMOTE app but when I open it presents simply share as attached. We want to be able to share pictures and videos from the guests mobile phone (or tablet) to the Philips Hotel TV.

    Hi,

okay, this would be the correct function.
For this App there is no "PIN" or any other Security Setting (at least not for the 7108) for the HFL you need to ask your local Support.

    Regards
    Thomas
