37PFL5522D/05 switched itself into standby and no longer comes on

My 37PFL5522D/05 switched itself into what appears to be some kind of standby mode and I am unable to get it to switch on. If I switch on the TV, then press the power button on the remote, the blue light on the TV briefly appears then I get one long red blink followed by 2 short red blinks. I have unplugged the TV then tried switching it on but that makes no difference. Is there anything I can try to resolve this?

    Hi crist,

Flashing LED in sequence usually indicated a hardware failure and the TV is in protection mode.

You can perhaps try to remove the power cord over night, however the issue is likely to return.

The TV would then require service. Please contact your local customer service team with assistance in finding a local authorised Philips service centre:

    Best regards,
