Tv pfk6309-hts- htb3540- arc and easylink are not working with together. (solved)
Dear Philips Lover's;
I want to share my experience with my Philips Systems.
TV: 42PFK6309
HTS: HTB3540
HDMI Cables: SWV5401H x2
I bought my TV and HTS a few weeks ago and couldn't make them worked together by easylink or ARC.
I felt so badly because i had choosed these systems can be online together by easylink or ARC. And i believed there is no need to use any optic cable to processing. After i had worked on them.
I found solutions and wanted to share with you.
You can see the steps.
1- I upgraded the HTS systems according to directive's of philips. You can see the details on p4c.philips.com
2- I turned off all systems.
3- I turned on all systems (not worked)
4- I checked the TV's software version. (It said all software is updated)
5- I closed the ARC on TV. (It didnt work.) and kept easylink is on (it didnt work)
6- I changed the HDMI cable and checked the it was a HDMI 1.4 version or not.
Although everything was ok, ı didnt understand why they were not working. ı was too sad.
And suddenly i thought something. Optic cable was pluged.
I unpluged it and SUCCEED. All systems are working by easylink or ARC or together.
Situtation
1- Easylink is on
2-ARC is on
3- Optic cable is unplugged.
4- TV can show the special image of HTS on settings.
5- Amplifier is choosed on sound settings.
6- Pairing is shows "(-)" (Not optic or coaxial) I think "(-)" means EASYLINK.
7- All systems can turned on automaticlly.
Thank you Philips, i want to live this happiness more than years.
Bye.

Also I saw new thing. When electrical supply is off or when the power cord is unplugged, All easylink and arc must be set again. After all are done, they are correctly working.

I found a new. When Easylink Auto Turn Off is enabled on TV and if you use TV+HTS+Satellite Receiver (SR had not easylink or ARC) together, HTS is gone to standby mode by TV automaticly in 10 minutes, because of this Easylink is going to be disabled so you can't use RC with easylink. Keep Easylink Auto Turn Off so disabled and enjoy Easylink and Arc are working together continouslly.
