hbbtv cookies problem on Philips MT5880, ANTGalio 3.3.0.26.04

Hi,

I'm developing hbbtv applications which use permanent cookies (i.e. for 5 years).
My problem is that tv hbbtv browser does not store cookies for long time.

Does anybody experienced similar issue?

hi,

so my goal is to store cookie with information for my application for long time, and this time is more than 5 years, infos are important for runnning app and does not change often

i set cookie expire in 2030, for path "/" and my domain
information to save in is about 200 characters

understood but why is it so important to store that cookie over more then 5Yrs?
Why not 30 Days (for instance)

sure, but 30days is also too long, cookies are recreated after couple of hours maybe when tv is off-on (?)

why 5years ? why not i want permanent cookie (never expired cookie)
