    Philips 55"PFS8109/12

I now have spent a few days with the brand new Philips 55" 8109 TV set. I am experiencing quite a few bugs, and hope to find out if these are known issues about to get worked out, or if anyone else have the same problems.

    Audio Return Channel.
At first, no sound at all trough Audio Return Channel. After a lot of testing, I decided to bypass the issue with a toslink cable (fibre optical). This solution gets me sound from the receiver, but NO surround, only front speakers and the receiver are not able to use any kind of pro logic algorithm either.

    Dim Screen issue
Sometimes the screen goes really dim. Almost to dark to navigate menus. Only way to get back in business, is to zap from the current input, to another input (with signal), and then back again.

    Choppy sound from TV.
While watching TV trough internal tuner occasionally the sound drops out for a couple of seconds. Happens every 3-5 minutes or so.

    Black screen from TV tuner
Sometimes TV screen goes completely black (but sound keeps playing). Solution is to zap between channels (NOT inputs), and picture gets back just fine.

I might add more bugs as they show up. Any input/feedback will be appreciated.

Confirm the DIM and Black screen issuses here as well. My only solution to these are unplugging of power cord.
Sound problems also, but a lot more than you have.
