Post HTS9520/12 DVD stops after 1 hour

    Hello,

When I play a DVD or Blu ray on my HTS9520/12 the DVD stops every time after a little more than one hour.
The screens freezes at that point and the only way to use the DVD is, turning off the HTS9520/12 and restart it and start the DVD.
It does not matter if it is a new or a old DVD.

    What can be the problem?

    Thanks for reply.

    Dear Sarka,

    Thanks for your reply.

The player is connected to my TV (also Philips) with HDMI.

    Regards,

    Dear Wilfried,

I am sorry for the late reply. Have you tried to reset the home theater to the default settings? It is explained on the page 22 here: http://download.p4c.philips.com/file...12_dfu_aen.pdf

I would also recommend you to unplug the theater from the mains for few minutes and plug it again.

Let me know if this helps.

    Kind regards,
    Sarka

    Dear Sarka,

I tried a reset, I cleared the memory and I installed the latest firmware.

It is a Philips 2.1 home cinema HTS7202 3D Blu-ray, instead of a HTS9520/12, but that want make a difference to the problem.

Please let me know what the solution can be, the problem is really annoying .

    Thanks for your reply.

    Regards,
    Wilfried

    Dear Wilfried,

Unfortunately, you will have to contact a retailer or your local service centre as the device need to be checked by a technician. They will assist you further with a repair or exchange of the unit.

    Kind regards,
    Sarka
