HMP7100 file list not in order

I have the 7100 and using the latest firmware that I updated yesterday as I installed the unit.

I have a NAS that holds over 300 films and numerous TV shows. When looking at my film folder it seems to have most of them in alphabetical order apart from about 10 files. These files are different types so it's not down to MP4 or AVI filename issues I don't think.

I looked at one of the films (Birdman.MP4) and the properties of the film on my Win 7 PC, I cleared the properties thinking that maybe the 7100 was listing using the tag information but the copy file was listed at the end of the list with the original film.

Has anyone else found this problem or more importantly a fix to it. Not having all the files listed in order is a real pain when you have over 300 titles to scroll through.

    Hello RSS_UK!

First of all I would like to warmly welcome you to the Philips Forum!

Now on to the questions you have. I think I will have to forward them to the tech team to have a better look so would you mind answering a few questions? Please send them in a PM to me.

Which model are you using, I see that it is a HMP7100 but what comes after the dash?’
What is the serial number of your device?
How is your HMP ordering the files?
What type of DLNA/NAS server are you using?
Which firmware version do you have on your HMP7100?
Which file types have you tried on your NAS?
Have you tried other NAS/DLNA with your device?
Which country do you live in?
    Thank you in advance!

Hope you have a great week!

    Regards,
    Philips - Katerina
