    P9 Switches off on battery power

    Hi can anyone help me out...I have just purchased a new fidelio p9....and I am very dissapointed as it just turns off after a minute on battery power even though it is fully charged...it is not a case of just dropping a bluetooth signal..it just dies...this does not happen when it is plugged in....is there a problem with p9 batteries?...this is the second p9 i bought and the first one just wouldnt charge at all. I have heard of other people having problems also....please help Philips this is only a few days after purchase...

    Hi fgaff, may I know more about the problem of your 2nd speaker ?

    How do you use it after full charged ? Connecting via Bluetooth or mp3 link ?

    1. Can you please provide your P9's serial number?
    2. Does it suddenly switch off when disconnected from the mains ?
    3. Can it be turned on again by pressing power button?

    Sorry I missed one of your replies...Yes it suddenly switches off as you say and NO I cannot turn it on again by pressing the power button.....It can only be turned on again by connecting to plug socket power...serial number is LMIC1302003712

    Ok I have done as you suggested and charged for 48 hrs ...problem is still there nothing has changed. .can you please tell me my options ...

    It is brand new....the service you suggested this is covered under guarantee ? Can you tell me where my local philips service is in cork city Republic of Ireland?
