    Question Weird problem remote 46pfl9707

    Hi,

I am experiencing weird problems with the official remote (not an IR remote, a Bluetooth or WiFi remote) :

    * Sometimes almost all the buttons aren't working : even no red spot appearing on the TV
    * Sometimes only some buttons are working ("source") and the other not ("exit", "volume")
    * Sometimes when I tap on a button ("1") it makes an other thing ("6")
    * Sometimes when I tap on a button ("1"), it doubles the fonction ("11").

When I have this problems, I shut down the TV (not just in "sleep mode"), and sometimes the remote works better.

Of course, I tried other battery and I have the newest firmware.

    Can someone help me ?

    Thank you !

    Hi Guewman.

Please try to reset and re-pair the remote control as follows:

    1. Hold your remote control close to the TV (10cm) and press down the Red and the Blue buttons simultaneously until the TV gives the message: "Pairing Successful".

    2. Then try to use the remote again.

If this doesn't work, please try the following:

    1. Press FORMAT + Mute + 0 simultaneously for more than 2 seconds (see image below).

    2. Press Home to check if the remote is successfully unpaired (the menu should not appear nor disappear).

    3. Without pressing any other buttons, remove the batteries and place the remote keyboard side up on a flat surface. Press down firmly but carefully so all buttons are depressed for 4-5 seconds.

    4. Reinsert the batteries and try to pair the remote as above.

    Best regards,
    Ina
