Lightbulb Wifi disconnection problem in 42PFL5008G/77

Hi all, here is the thing.

The TV is often disconnected from the wifi and trying to reset it the "Wireless" option does not appear available in the menu (only the "Cabl." Option appears).

To reconnect it I unplug the TV from the power outlet and plug it again, getting the menu "Wireless" option back.

I updated the TV software as recommended by the Web page to the following:

    Release Version. IDTV0801_002123_2_001_309_001_117_001_11
    L12M31L_003.009.000.001
    Date added: REL_20140521_090403
    Netflix Version: 3.3.3-release-1539680

The problem was not solved, it should be noted that I have another TV 32PFL5007G/77 (ZA241248017926) connected to the same network operating without any inconvenience.

Attached you will find the configuration data of the software:

    IDTV0801_002123_2_001_343
    L12M11L_1.5.03
    Date added: REL_20121024_175227
    Netflix Version: 3.1.4-release-1106457

I would appreciate if anyone has a solution to the problem, carefully,

    Daniel Basso

    Hi Daniel,

I have removed your personal contact information from your post, because this is a public forum.

From what I can understand, your TV loses the wireless connect and the wireless connection option, is this correct?

Do you have any external devices connected to the TV?
If yes, please try to remove these and see if the issue persists.

    Best regards,
    Ina

Hi Ina, thanks for your prompt response.

Regarding your question, there is no any other external devices connected to the TV.

Yesterday I finally could get support from Philips Argentina call center, they guided me through several (and very basic) tests and they have made a conclusion that the internal wifi adapter may be damaged, so they recommend an onsite diagnostic.

I am right now trying to coordinate it with an official technical rep but it is getting very hard to get so, it seems to be that the service from Philips Argentina is very poor.

Anyway if you have another replies to my post please let me know them.

    Thank you again.

    Daniel Basso.
