Hi. I can not upgrade the firmware.
My Tv -32phh4309/88 f/w: tpn149e_002.070.000.000 PQ ver: V0.0001 2013115
I tried in all ways. I changed the file name to "autorun.upg". I used several different USB memory. TV never automatically started update. When I try to manually upgrade "no valid file" appears. any ideas?

Hi,
when you extract the ZIP-file, there is "autorun.upg" - you don't need to rename it.

There in zip-file is "upgrade_Release v3.000_20140630_r136722_BSP6729.upg" . So i renamed this file. But TV not see this file. without changing the file name- also does not work.

Hi,
that's strange...
- format USB stick with FAT
- create folder called "UPGRADES"
- copy this upg file into that folder
- go to local updates in the Update Menu of your TV
- install

Thank you for your reply, but this also already tried..
I tried ... and tried ...
Unfortunately, the tv still does not see the firmware file ...
Maybe there is something wrong with the file?
Maybe someone know where I can find firmware TPN149E_V2.100?Last edited by kopiscan; 08-03-2014 at 06:33 PM.

Hello kopiscan,
I have exactly the same problem. Tried to upgrade my 22pfk4109 from 2.06 to 3.0. Tried the automatic update and the manual way. But nothing worked correct. The TV can´t find a valid file....
I am realy tired about that.
Please contact me, if someone have an older version, like 2.1, for me.

Hello,
I have similar problem trying to upgrade my 40PFH4309/88 with upgrade_Release v3.000_20140630_r136722_BSP6729.upg
I strictly followed the procedure from support page using 2GB flash stick with fat16/fat32 and only one file autorun.upg but TV haven't seen upgrade file. Existing firmware is TPN149E_002.700.000.000
Any help will be appreciated!

I tried with the last update released today, and does not work.
Philips only has change the file name to "upgrade.upg" its the same file.
my actual firmware release is 2.060

Also reported issue to Philips, since the Chat is desesperately offline all day long...
TV model is 22PFH4109_88 and tried to upgrade from 2.07 to 3
Same issues than reported before: upgrade doesnt' work if I leave the file name upgrade_Release v3.000_20140630_r136722_BSP6729.upg or if I change it to upgrade.upg, or if I put it in an upgrades folder.
Tried on FAT, FAT32: usb key is recognized as I can read images I put on, but not the upgrade file!
This is quite annoying as I bought the TV to use the PVR function...
Please solve that ASAP
Thanks & regards

Hi,
this is a re-release of the previous firmware. Extract the ZIP, go into the folder "TPN149E..." and copy the autorun.upg to an empty USB stick. Install.
