GoGear Vibe SA4 does not recognise playlists

    Dear Support Forum,

As I already have a Philips GoGear Vibe (SA3 range), I have chosen to stay with the company when I bought a new player.

I encountered an annoying problem with the new device (SA4VBE04KF/12): it seems impossible to transfer the playlists created with Philips Songbird. I had no such problem with the previous model of GoGear Vibe.
Now the music is transferred, but can be listened only by choosing artist or album. The Playlist-on-the-go (default I guess) is in the menu, but the added playlists don't show.
I tried formatting the device and start again, but the problem remained.
The files' size is well within the 3.8 GB limit.
Could you please give me advice how to resolve the problem? Because right now I feel I have thrown money out of the window with this purchase...

    Best regards,
    Aniko

    Hello Aniko,

Thank you for information. Unfortunately, your player does not support playlists such as m3u because it does not support MTP mode. Only 3 on-the-go playlists are supported.

A software which is recommended for your player is either Device Manager or Media converter.

    Kind regards,
    Sarka

    Hello Sarka,

    Thank you for your help!
To tell the truth, this information was NOT on the box of the device, or I wouldn't have bought it...

    Best wishes,
    Aniko
