Question Common Interface Plus certification for UPC question

Not sure where the correct spot in the forum is to post this. Sorry if it is in the wrong position.

I have a new 47PFK7509 TV and would like to use it with UPC in The Netherlands. I called them today to order a unit, but they said they don't yet have the TV in their list as certified.

They mentioned I should contact Philips about this, because they regularly receive a list from TV producers with their new models.

Can you please give me some indication on when I should be able to order a UPC CI+ card that works with my TV?

    Hi Peterdevries,

I have moved your topic to TV:Installation as this is perhaps a more accurate section for your query. Here is may also be found by others with similar queries.

I have just checked UPC's website and it appears they must have updated their database for certified devices and the 47PFK7509/12 is now included.

You can check the compatibility yourself on their page here as well:

    Best regards,

    Hi Ina,

Thanks! I just contacted UPC yesterday and they confirmed the TV is now certified. I ordered the CI+ card. Excited to give it a go!

Thanks again for answering my question!

    Best regards,
    Peter
