Audio out on my Philips 42PFT6309/12 to my amplifer. I

    Hi.

I have tried to connenct my Philips 42PFT6309/12 to my amplifer. I have just used the same connection I did on my old Samsung. I have connected my audio cabels from the audio out on the TV to my amplifer, but it doesn't work. The reasen why I bought the TV was because of Spotify and Netflix (and of course because the TV is good). And it is not that fun to hear Spotify on the TV. Do you know what may be the problem?

It is not a HDMI out issue. This is ordinary audio (AUX) cables.

    Hi Albert Henrik,

Are you attempting to use the Audio L/R connection of the TV in this case?
If yes, then these are Audio In only and would not provide audio to your amplifier.

The options for audio out for an amplifier on your TV are:

    - HDMI (ARC)
    - Digital audio out (optical)
    - Headphone out

    Best regards,
    Ina
