Philips TV DNLA not supporting subtitles

I want to submit a ticket about my Philips PFL8008K not supporting subtitles over DNLA so I can not use my NAS effectively. I saw another thread about this but that thread was closed by a moderator without any info which is not nice to close a thread where customers are sharing their problems. So where can I submit a ticket ?

    Hi Iarwa1N,

Could you be more specific about your issue?
Your TV does support embedded subtitles for streaming over network, but not separate subtitle files.

If you would like to raise any issues with our customer service team you can find the contact details on our support pages here:

Select your country and preferred language, then Contact.

    Best regards,

Hı Ina, I have a WD My Cloud Mirror and I have MKV formatted movies in that NAS. I know that my NAS supports subtitles over DNLA because I can see and select subtitles from DNLA clients on my laptop and on my phone. I tried both merging mkv with subtitles and placing subtitles to the same directory where my movie stands with the same name but I could not manage my TV to display subtitles.

My NAS also supports protocols like WebDav, FTP, NFS, AFP. So I figured maybe I can manage to make the movies available to the TV via these protocols instead of DNLA which appears to be not an option for subtitles.

Can you please explain what do you mean by "Your TV does support embedded subtitles for streaming over network" ?

    Thank you
