    Can't hear music in Philips Songbird anymore

    Can no longer hear music in Philips Songbird anymore. When you select the song to listen to the play button at the top changes to the pause button. The time length for the song that shows playing is 0 to 0. It's like it's in pause mode.

    I have uninstalled and installed 3 times. Another issue I may have is when you go to options/advanced/update/history there is a warning that update server not found and the version shows as 1.9.6. When I try to check for updates I get songbird could not be updated.

    I contacted support but they had no advice other than reinstalling.

    Hello,

    Please try repairing the device with Philips Songbird. The procedure is described on page 15 of the user manual below:

    Ran the repair device. Per page 15 of the manual this is to reset the mp3 player for errors. This did not fix the Philips Songbird issue. Any other advice?

    the device works fine...it's the songbird application that has issues

    As we cannot reproduce the issue, I suggest that you have it serviced by a qualified technician as there might be some hidden technical fault.
