    Unstable 55PFL4508T/12

    Just got a Phillips 55PFL4508T!
    TV is not responding when using the remote, have to press 2-3 times on a button before it Works!
    When starting Smart-TV, screen goes Black or it goes into Demo mode!
    TV shuts down when starting Smart-TV
    Slow response in general

    What to do!?

    Good day,

    Have you tried doing an upgrade to your set?

    The latest software solves the issues below:
    > Issue fix: Improvement of RC slow reaction.....
    > Issue fix: SmartTV hangs after 5-10 sec.....

    Make sure also that your device/TV is not set into shop mode.
    Home mode

    Some TV settings may not be available in Shop mode. To make sure that the correct TV settings are applied, set the TV to Home mode.
    1. While you watch TV, press .
    2. Select [Setup], then press OK.
    3. Select [TV settings] > [General settings]
    > [Location].
    4. Select [Home], then press OK.
    5. Restart the TV.

    Am i the only one with these problems?
    I have:
    - reinstalled the newest software
    - switched from wifi to cable
    - removed USB disk
    - reset the TV
    no changes!

    Still nonresponsive RC, have to press twice before TV reacts!
    SMART TV cant start before 3-5minutes after TV is switch on!
    SMART TV starts in demo, when using the SMART TV button!
    SMART TV can be started through HOME button and then SMART TV!
    Selecting programs from the "Guide", takes up to 20 sec. for switching channel.

    Weird....

    I have noticed - when using the MyRemote on smartphone, i only have to press once.
