    HTL9100 - 3D passthrough not working

I am using the HTL9100 with a Panasonic 3D Blu Ray player connected to HDMI2 and I can't get 3D Blu Rays to work at all. If I put a 3D disc in the player, it reports that it cannot detect a 3D TV and won't let me play the disc.

If I connect the player directly to the TV, 3D works fine.

I could resort to using Optical for the Blu Ray player's sound and leave it connected directly to the TV for video, but I don't really want to because optical is used for another device.

Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Zaichik,

Thank you for contacting us. It would be good if you can provide us information about connection options of your TV.
I would also recommend you to have a look at our connection guide which might help you as well: http://www.connectivityguide.philips.com/#diagram

The TV is a Panasonic TXP42GT50 and it has 4 HDMI sockets. The soundbar is connected to HDMI2, which is the one which is HDMI ARC compatible.

My blu ray player is a Panasonic DMP-BDT110. It is connected to HDMI2 on the soundbar. A Virgin TiVo is connected to HDM1.

I have tried substituting a Sony blu ray player on HDMI2, and the 3D passthrough works fine, so why doesn't it work with the Panasonic?

    Hello,

thank you for detailed information. It looks like a TV compatibility issue.
I would recommend you to disable the Deep Color option on the BD player and video image will return back.

    Kind regards,
    Sarka
