Question Please can you help ...... Losing Time on Digital clock

    DC315/05 Losing time

I have the above clock/docking station that is quite useful and I quite like - BUT ....... it is continually losing time and every week I have to make sure that the clock is set 10 minutes fast so that I am not waking up late. It's ridiculous .... and I have never heard of this problem with a digital clock before.

Has anybody else got this problem ..............if so I'd be ever so grateful if you could help me fix it?

Please advise Philips - as I can't continue like this!

    Many thanks in advance

    Hello,

Thank you for posting on the forum. Have you tried to reset a dock by unplugging it from the mains for few minutes? Can you describe what do you mean by saying it has to be set '10 minutes fast'?
    Does the alarm go off?

    Kind regards,

I have tried numerous times to reset the clock but on average it's losing about 2-10 minutes per week. When I say I have to set the clock 10 minutes fast ... I mean that in order for me to not wake up late (unless I reset the time every day) I deliberately set the time on the clock to be 10 minutes fast on a Sunday evening. That way the alarm will always go off slightly early and never late - because if I set it to the correct time on a Sunday evening - by the end of the week the clock will be between 2 and 10 minutes slow.
It is losing time every day. Isn't this a fault with the clock?

    Hello,

Thank you for the information. This is not a normal behaviour, I would recommend you to contact a retailer or your local service centre to have the unit checked.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

    Kind regards,
    Sarka
