Philips 55PUS8809 WLAN conf accepts only 10 or 26 numbers

My ADSL Wlan router uses Static WEB key with 13 numbers, but can't find a way to configure that to TV

When my WEP Key is entered it says: Wrong key length. Web key contains 10 or 26 numbers.. NOTE this is translation from Finnish!

    From my WLAN Router:
    Note:
The different WEP key lengths configure different strength security, 40/64-bit, 128-bit, or 256-bit respectively. Your wireless client must match the security strength set on the router.
-Please type exactly 5, 13, or 29 characters.
    or
-Please type exactly 10, 26, or 58 characters using only the numbers 0-9 and the letters 'a-f' or 'A-F'.

I do not really want to change that password to all my other devices....

    Thanks
    -Pete

    Hi,

WEP 128 Bit is either 26 Charachters of hexadezimal or 13 Charachters of alphanumeric Signs.

So you need to translate your 13 Charachters "Passphrase" which is in this Case Alphanumeric to a Hexadezimal.

    Here is f.e a Converter

    http://www.dolcevie.com/js/converter.html

Anyway, we do recommend not to use WEP encryption anymore but WPA or WPA 2 instead.
So if you have the Chance of switching the encryption type, please do so.

    Best Regards
    Thomas
