    MCM2250 CD reading problem

I've just bougth a mcm2250 and I tried unsuccesfully to read a cd.

First of all, I inserted the CD with the picture in front of me

the display screen write reading but there is no sound and I do not hear any noise from the CD reader.

Is there something wrong with what I did?

    Hello,

    Please double check the following:

    1. Make sure that the AC power adaptor is connected properly.
    2. Make sure that there is power at the AC outlet.
    3. With a power-saving feature, the product switches off automatically 15 minutes after the product stays inactivity.
    4. Adjust the volume.
    5. Disconnect the headphones.
    6. Reconnect the AC power adaptor, and then turn on the product again.
    7. Wait until the moisture condensation at the lens has cleared.
    8. Replace or clean the disc.
    9. Make sure that the recordable disc is finalized and the format is supported.

    Kind regards,
    Philips Moderation Team

    Hi

I did all steps from 1 to 8 withourt success

Regarding step 9, it is not a recordable disc but a Music CD bought in a shop that is read on another CD reader

Regarding the side of insertion, what side should face to me, the picture on the CD or the tracks sides?

    Kind regards

    Philippe G

    Hello,

You need to place the disc with its label facing upwards.

    Hello

As ce CD is entered on the top, it is the side of the CD that is upwerd.

So if the back of the MCM facing the wall, the label of ce CD face the wall or face to me?

    Thank you for your help

    Kind regards
