BDP3100 - Problems after firmware update
Hello everyone,
since I updated my player's firmware with the new May 2011 version I am experiencing serveral difficulties/problems.
Most of my BluRays are not recognized anymore although they have been with previous firmware versions. Some BluRays can be read after I try them like 20 times. Harry Potter 7.1 can be read now, but couldn't before. DVDs can be played normally.
On old firmware versions I observed the same with a few BluRays but only quite seldomly.
Any chance of fixing this issue without having to send the player back to Amazon ?
Thanks a lot for your help.

Which blu rays are they? Always handy to give the EAN numbers.

I guess it's because by upgrading the firmware, the device will have more to process before starting up. So, for some discs, you may have to wait a little bit longer. Read somewhere else, one have to wait for 1 mins for the Nadia disc(?) and like 3 mins for Avatar? Not sure, but I advise you to wait a little bit longer.
