MyRemote for iPad or as a universal app?
Hello,
I tried to find out info here, but was not able to find any.
Do you plan to release a universal version of Myremote or a iPad specific one?
Please I need the answer, as i consider otherwise bying a special remote (and hardware ir transmitter) for the iPad, and I would like to avoid spending €60-80 if MyRemote is getting an iPad version soon

hi,
do you have the iPad already? did you try to download the MyRemote app? because normally it should work with iOS devices. Android is another story...

Yes. It works. Awfully ugly, as it's stretched. The buttons are way too big (as they are scaled for the smaller iPhone screen). Can do the work, but that's it.
iPad does not need 3 screens, as it can fit all buttons on one -> bad usability.
Native iPad is way better. Or at least universal app - it won't be ugly.Last edited by enterfornone; 07-01-2011 at 11:48 AM.

Ahh, that is another question then... on this one I completely agree with you that unless you have pretty big fingers you don't need the whole 10" only for a few buttons! xD
This is a very good point and maybe Philips can comment if they are already working on a tablet version of the app.
