    Question 32PFL9606K/02 - 3D Max isn't integrated in latest firmware - WHY?

    Dear Philips,

in a HIFI shop we want to test the new 9000 series (32PFL9606K/02). The series includes 3D Max (active 3D) and also the 3d sensor is integrated. We installed the latest firmware (10.94.1) to be up-to-date. However, as we see in the CSM the 3D dongle software isn't included. So we have a 3D-TV - but no firmware which supports the 3D function.

Why is such a model on the market? Or when can we expect a 3D firmware?

From my point of view, this is really chaotic... how should customes react? They would like to buy such TV but the salesman can only say "yeah it's a good tv, but the software isn't ready for 3D"... The customer will buy another TV from a different company... :-(

So maybe you can announce a timeline for a 3D capable firmware...

    why not integrated?
    how did you check this?
did you connect blu ray player with 3D content?
then you should have option to switch also between 2D/3D

have you 3D device connected to the tv?

    Hi,

when you take a look at the CSM (consumer service menu) one can see the software version of the 3D stack (at position 2.7)... and if a TV has no 3D, this entry is empty (such as on the 66x6 series)...

    Hi Toengel@Alex,

I got a 32PFL9606H with sw 10.65.10, and indeed the 3d dongle line in the CSM is empty but if you go to the "Adjust" menu the 3D options (3D format and 2D/3D) are there. I tested 3D with PS3 and it worked fine, some juddering visible but for the rest quite acceptable.

    Regards,
