    Hi All
I have just purchased a Blue Ray player Model BDP 3200/05. The picture and sound are slightly out of synch. I have updated the hardware and software but still have the same problem. I would be grateful for any help

so you are using the internal speakers of your TV...

Can you please post your TV model and installed firmware and also the installed firmware version of your BDP?

What media files you are playing? I just wonder you mean those media files from you USB or you actually mean the Blu-ray disc/ DVD disc.
If that's the media files, will that be a file problem? If that's a disc, yes, I agree we have to check the connection.

Hi thanks for your interest. I have been playing DVDs and Blu rays. I have been in touch with philips support. They told me to change the HDMI lead as I was using a cheap lead. I did change it and it made no difference. They then told me that if it made no difference I would have to take it back as it is faulty.

and one more question. Not sure if you have already upgraded it to 1.66 (the Picasso version). Guess it's better to test it with the newest FW.

If you can give some EAN (barcode) for Philips, guess this may help as well.

EAN is 8712581558642. DVD and blu rays play fine, no synch problems, lovely picture etc.

My BDP3200/05 serial number begins KX, so when I upgraded FW from 1.53 it became 1.63. I then looked over at the BDP3200/12 model, and here the FW upgrade goes to 1.67 (released 2011-7-11). Here, for KX serial nmbers only, you'll find the 1.67 upgrade with claimed Picasso.

If your device has below Software version and similar serial number:
    - System Software Version 1.67 or below
    - Serial Number KXxxxxxxxxx
    System Software Version: V1.67
 This software upgrade is to enable the Picasa feature in your player.
    System Software Version: V1.63
 This software upgrade is to enable the YouTube feature in your player.
    System Software Version: V1.53
     Initial Release..

When I upgraded to 1.67, no Picasso, but DVD and blue rays still play fine.
