Philips 46pfl8505 lower and upper screen brighter
Hello,
I just bought i philips 46pfl8505. I have an question about it.
The upper an lower level of the screen is brighter than the rest of the screen. If you look real close to the screen you can almost see the leds. Is this common or do i have a faulty example.?? Anybody else have the same issue? For more understanding i put i link to youtube for an movie example.

Unfortunately, this is expected from an edge-lit TV. See for example here some screenshots (with a large exposure to capture the phenomenon) from another brand (again edge-lit):
The images are from this review (in Greek): http://www.fullhd.gr/2008-03-14-21-3...20-review.html
