What kind of smartphone do you use with the myremote app ??
Hi @all,
i just opened up this topic to find out on which smartphones the Philips Myremote app for android already runs?
Would be nice if you could post your device type here and the android version and additionally the model of your TV

HTC Desire S, android 2.3
Myremote works on:
TV: 40PLF8605
Blueray: BDP5200 (I bought this version because it had myremote and 3D).
I prefer to use the normal remote controls because they do not have to start up for a few seconds,
and I can do other things with my mobile, like useing Gmote for my pc.
I do use Myremote when I have to type something or when they normal remotes are not in hand reach

Dear Richard,
thanks for your reply!!
If the app would work on my "system" i also would use it as a keyboard only, for example when you use youtube.
For the moment i found another way to overcome the not working app. i use imediashare, there you can stream youtube to your TV very well. but for all the other stuff in net tv i have to use the "normal" remote to type in the letters...
Best regards
P.S. @all please keep on writing :-)

Samsung Galaxy SII, but the app does not work, it cannot locate the TV.
Only the demo works, and does of course nothing on the TV...

HTC Desire Z rooted + S-OFF
stock-firmware with Android 2.2 Froyo
MyRemote 1.0.4
42PFL7655K02
App works perfect. I especially like the feature to stream pictures from my phone to the TV. It works much better than via DLNA from my NAS, which only displays pictures in stamp-size instead of fullscreen.
Cool and funny app, but honestly quite useless except the picture steaming. Well at least now I've a replacement remote control for the case that the batteries of my normal remote will be empty.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA arc (LT15i)
Android 2.3.4
Build 4.0.2.A.0.62
MyRemote 2.0.1
CSS5123 (SoundBar Home Cinema)
App is very very slow, runs very unstable and often blocks.
Philips Soundbar CSS5123 (running with last available firmware) is found by the app only in very rare cases; if a connection can be established, it gets lost very quickly (used WiFi Router: Fritz!Box 7170).
