    laptop to tv vga connection

    Hi

    I have TV PHILIPS 46pfl5605h/12 and connect it to my laptop with vga connector...
    My laptop detects the TV, but the TV is not recognize the connection .... Writing me "No video signal"

    I don't know what is the problem.

    I would appreciate your help

    look into you manual of your TV for the supported resolutions of the VGA connection.

    make sure that you have activated the TV in the PC Screen seetings as 2nd Monitor. Also make sure that you have extended the Desktop to this 2nd Monitor.

    Also like Toengel says, please be aware of the Resolution for VGA:

    640 x 480 - 60 Hz
    800 x 600 - 60 Hz
    1024 x 768 - 60 Hz
    1360 x 768 - 60 Hz
    1280 x 1024 - 60 Hz
    1600 x 1200 - 60 Hz
    1920 x 1080 - 60 Hz
