Hi,

i use a 46PFL7605 with a Philips PFS0001 DVB-S2 HD Receiver on the HDMI-ARC. I had sound drops since i updated from the 75 software version to the 140ies.

I think it was the >140.34 Firmwares that made the issues even worse - I have not only sound dropouts but also picture dropouts (screen going black) for about 2 seconds. I think someone mentioned that behaviour earlier in some thread. Also the wakeup trigger for the Sattelite Receiver over ARC takes sometimes 1 minute or longer when turning on the TV. Surprisingly enough i have no loss of sound or picture when using my AppleTV 2 over HDMI or Nintendo Wii over Component input.

Anyway - I'm back to 140.23 for now because the sound dropouts are only a fraction of a second and do not come along with any picture glitches. Also the HDMI-ARC controlled sattelite receiver works much better. Im going to try the oher 140ies Versions too, to figure out which one works best for me. If anyone else intends to do the same PLEASE POST YOUR RESULTS HERE.

For those who also want to downgrade: I used the unofficial firmware archive from http://philips.samipupu.com/9xx5.html
Even if its for the 9xx5 models the firmware works like a charm on my 7605 implying that there is no difference at all.

WARNING: Do not downgrade from 140.X to 75.X
