VIDEO STORE TIP: SD-card performance can affect the movie download speed. Class 2 SD-cards should already give an acceptable performance, with download times of just a few minutes maximum. We noticed that tolerances in SD-cards can cause incidentally less performance of some SD-cards despite they are of class 4 or better.

So, if you experience long movie download times, please try another SD-card, that might improve the download speed severely.

To test the download performance Philips first must repair NETTV connectivity ! I can't connect since many weeks "Try later..." message appears over and over again !

I have a bad download performance. I tried with Philips delivered SD card and with a kingston 8GB sd card. Both are class 4.

It takes round about 4min 45s to buffer the free Werner football game in german Videociety and it took round about 50min to buffer the movie "The Rite". I rented this movie also on Videociety.

Just buying another more sd card is a bad option, if I do not know which one I should buy to solve this.

Any tips which ones are working? What should the dc card fulfill to be speedy enough?

Is there a tool to check a sd card?

Are there some Philips certified sd cards?

I mean, we should have something to rely on. How much sd cards should one buy?
I'm also willing to do more debug.

Internet speed was very good 26 MBit updwards 990KBit downwards. Measured with speed test from AVM (http://www.avm.de/de/Service/FRITZ_Tools/zack/zack.html) on the same ethernet wire, the TV is connected.

have you tried to check your internet speed with http://www.wieistmeineip.de/speedtest/ ?
What ist your internet provider? Is your whole NET TV as slow as Videociety?
