Thank you Juan!
I am looking forward to getting one! Any idea of price?
Also it seems that there will be 4 different models: D, K, M and T. What do those letters mean?
Thanks again. Rgds.

Hi,
K, M, T and H describe the tuner which are integrated: K = DVBS(2), T = DVB-T2...
Price in Germany is around 2400€...

Avoid by all costs the models ending in D. They contain only an mpeg2 tuner, not an mpeg4 one. H means mpeg2/mpeg4.

K, M, T, H and now D? How many models are there and what is the best one then?
A bit confused with the tuner specifications so if someone could explain the differences, that'd be very appreciated.
Also, I have finally managed to speak to someone at Philips who told me that this tv won't be available before mid-September in the UK.

Thank you all.
I have now seen that Philips have added info on the website:
http://www.philips.co.uk/c/televisio...l7956t_12/prd/
I hope it will hit the shops soon and that the price will be reasonable...

It seems that the tv is now on sale in the UK: £2099
http://shop.philips.co.uk/store?Acti...ctID=229817300
I don't understand why it is cheaper on the Continent: €1999. That's about £1750. Philips please sort it out so I can order one now !
