    I want Philips to pay some amount of money to the You Tube vendor in order to keep this app on Smart TV.

    There was a info on my TV screen while enternig to You Tube. Than I was chating and writnig complaints to Philips Poland. They are saying "sorry - your TV is old and You tube will no longer avaiable but that is not our problem. Taht is vendor of You tube decision"

    But I can show you an asnwer from Philips Poland. It's answer after my few e-mails and now they blocked my e-mail address. You can paste it into Google Translator to translate to English

    Smart TV is a platform where app provider can place the product and it is up to app provider to manage apps.
    The Youtube Flash app that was developed for earlier Smart TV’s (2012 and before) will no longer be supported by Youtube.

    Click on the following link to read the Youtube statement on the discontinuation of the app: youtube.com/tvdevices

    This is the decision made by Google, not Philips.

    But Philips does not respect clients

    Hi, I have 40PFL5507H/12 from December 2012, so I ask if Google or Philips provid to us a chrome cast or similar divice to enjoi Youtube again? I pay a smart tv so if We d'ont have support I never trust in Philips
