GoGear Muse and songbird not working together

I have connected the Muse i just got today in MSC mode but songbird doesn't seem to recognise it, it shows up in the devices menu but doesn't update firmware or add songs, I can add songs through windows media player but I want to be able to use songbird and update it, anyone else had this problem? sometimes when i connect it says it needs to be in mass storage mode on the device but apart from MSC there's no other options, it will say do not disconnect for a few seconds but then just goes back to ok to disconnect, any help appreciated

the MSC mode and MTP mode are quite jargons for me. (I hate using these terms)

but when you plug in the muse to your pc, it should have 2 options: "charge and transfer" and "charge and play".
make sure you are in charge and transfer mode...

For "PC connection settings" in under setting menu (in your device, not songbird), I choose "MSC as well, the first row out of 4 there"

I have the same issue. Whenever i connect my Gogear muse, songbird immediately crashes. I have downloaded the latest version but still
Does anybody know how to fix that?
