no smarttv on bdp8000 while bdp8010 has it?

hi,
just called the support here in the netherlands, it seems that there will be no firmware upgrade for the bdp8000 futuring smarttv, becouse the hardware could not handle it :S this sounds very strange to me, becouse the bdp8010 has it as well. is there maybe an developer out here who can verify this, or can i maybe do an dev request here to look at the possibilities to make smarttv, or only myremote, possible on the bdp8000?

this is also my information. Even the top model BDP9600 does not get the MyRemote support...

yes to my information also, we don't have smarttv feature for bdp8000 and bdp9600 since they are 2010 models and the platform is completely different to that for the newer 2011 models... (even it's cheaper range...)
