Update software for user manual
Hi
I've a Philips 37PFL8605K. Currently, user manual version "UMv 3104 327 0033.2 - 100610" is installed. Now, I've seen on the Philips website that there has been a user manual software update on November 4, 2010.
I've tried to install that update but I always get the message that the file version to be installed is older or equal as the version that is already installed.
Do you think that this message is misleading? Reason: The last digits of the version string (100610) seem to represent the date, i.e. June 10, 2010. That means that the version currently available on the Philips website is newer, isn't it?

Hi,
it could be - but on the other side the date on the website indicates only the upload date. The compiling date could be older...

Thank you for your answer. It's a pitty that we cannot retrieve the compiling date. The update file seems to be of binary format...

Hi,
you could just install it ;-) Or you leave that such as it is...
