    42pf5521d/10 screen problems

    hi i have a 42pf5521d/10 tv which has a problem with the screen , it has about 25 lines top and bottom of screen ,but the middle is cleer from lines , the pictures good and sounds fine .
    would anyone have a idea of whats wrong with my tv

    that will be indeed problem with display (plasma screen itselves).
    so you should ask workshop to check for repair.

    I dont' know... I'm not convinced yet that this might be a defect.

    Answers to the following questions would be very interesting:
    (1) do you see the lines also without any signal sources connected to the TV set? (If I remember correctly, the TV should show a blue screen when there's no input signal)
    (2) is the TV menu affected by this phenonemon (maybe it's out of reach for the stripes; forget this questions then)?
