Songbird don't recognise video capability of my gogearc am 4gb
Hi, Songbird don't recognise the video capability of my gogear cam 4gb. When I connect it to my pc, songbird show me only music function under name device in the west side, I tried to format and repair the device but nothing. It doesn't recognise viedo capability when I want to convert one for my device too. What can I do?

What version of songbird are you using? I have heard that getting the correct songbird from the support page is best for your player. Maybe try this and repair from there.
Also have you tried loading videos to your player using windows media player perhaps?

sorry to be more specific, what do you mean by "don't recognise video capability of my gogear"
you mean there's isn't "video" under the player pane in the left in your songbird?
you'd like to manage your video files in songbird?
i m just thinking if you'd just like to access to the file, you can use the window explorer...Last edited by kwinnie; 10-19-2011 at 01:41 PM.

Well, when i connect the gogearcam to songbird it say to me if I want to add videos from gogear to pc, couse there are some viedos in the player passed before the problem. Now if I connect the player to pc songbird ask me if I want to add videos to pc but when I look at player mainfolders on the songbird's west side there's only music mainfolder. Before the problem there was the mainfolder's video too. So if I want to add viedo tu player songbird say to me that there isn't any codec and player don't support videos.

Hi Satiryco,
Please can you provide the following information for us to look into this for you.
1. The full model number of your Go gear
2. The version of songbird you are currently running
3. Did you download the songbird directly from the support page
Many thanks

Hi,
Our support website is currently undergoing maintenance and all downloads downloads for the time being will not work correctly. To ensure that you have the most recent version of Songbird I would advise downloading once the file is available again from the support page. Please read the announcement below:
Our moderation team will continue to keep you updated. Please continue to check for announcements on the front of the forum.MAINTENANCE / CHANGES / ANOUNCEMENTS:
07-NOV-'11: Due to persistent problems in the data center, the content deployment to the Philips support website (P4C) is suspended since the beginning of week 1144.
The last content update to P4C has been on Saturday October 29 at 12:00 CEST. Everything uploaded after this time, like SW updates, leaflets, FAQ's, etc., is currently not available on the Internet. This also explains the problems with the DCM580 SW downloading (corrupted file). We apologise for any inconvenience and try to solve it ASAP.
Many thanks,
Philips Moderation team.

Sorry, this is the truth. I discovered what it's happened. After firmware update song bird says to me this message: Philips Songbird has detected "Philips SA2CAMxx", but no storage is available at the moment. To enable access, select "Mass storage mode", "USB Drive" or similar option on your device. What does it means?
