philips need to gev us a answer on why the pictuer haz gon poor with the new softwears and is there going to be a update to fix it.i dont see why we should go thro all this missing about trying to downgrade when wwe payed all this money for a high end tv

100% agree, so philips bring back the crip and sharp image on the 9705 series agian!, and do it quick please because this realy sucks

Only with a test you could prove that the problem is not the softwaer. We should make a downgread to see if the picture is beather, but it is impossible. I can confirm that in Hungary, with the same settings, the picture is worse than before.
It isn’t a cheap tv., and the thing it is very annoying!

im with on that one it can be the hardwear becuse nothing has changed im useing the same hd box same hdmi cabel and same bluray player i think it is the softwear.all so take a look at this post made by freddyb.post number#217

I have just installed it. Tried the Blu-ray of Inglourious Basterds, to test the subtitle dimming problem, and its still there . Although 2D picture quality has been improved slighty. I will have to do more tests with other titles.
