No updates available by NetTV (but they exist).
TV LCD 42PFL9664H firmware, available by Net-tv, isn't up-to-date.
Actually I tried to update it directly by dedicated menu option (my tv is wireless connected) in order to activate the "jointspace", but no updates were available.
I solved downloading the firmware update by PC (using a pendrive to reboot the tv).
Why Philips doesn't make last update available by Net TV too ?

Hello,
not all updates can be installed using the network connection. I did not understand the reason. The argument was, that they do not want to deliver every firmware update as "automatic" update. So you are not able to manually trigger update through network...
I think, this was discussed a while ago and seems that this policy is not really clear for users (also for me):
