Hi there,
I've downloaded the latest firmware v1.08 for MBD300 but the upgrade via usb went bad. Since then the bluray readerer is locked on "USB" and it's impossible to reach the "Settings" menu. I've tryed to reset by pressing the power on button while giving current but it did'nt work. My question is: is there a way to get out from this situation and recover the bluray reader to normal operativity? Thanks in advance.

No disc in the try. After your answer I used an USB key with the previous version of the firmware (1.07) but it didn't work...

FW 1.08 and display problems
I have installed the firmware v.1.08 that solve the tray problem but after the upgrade the display sometimes go off and sometimes show stranges characters. I have try to install a previous firmware (unfortunatly I have only find the v.1.03 on my computer) and now the display is ok, but the tray problem is back (if I press standby while the tray is open it remain halfway open when the player go off).
Anyone else have my problem? It's a firmware problem or it's a problem with my personal upgrade?

Did you try the upgrade again after you dowgraded it? Make sure no disc etc. is inside.
Try to upgrade again and once finished maybe first bring the device back to default settings and then see if the problem is still there..
Good luck

Thanks Oscar! I have re-downloaded the firmware and reinstalled it and after I have reset to default settings the player and now work perfectly: both the tray and the display!
