bdp-3100/12 .m2ts container
Will be implemented in the future ?
Some blueray players of the some level work fine with .m2ts and this can make the difference
to the buyer.

read somewhere that they will investigate adding in to the future product release... but less likely to add to current models as adding codec may like buying some extra "license", not just like re writing software or so...
of coz... am not sure

Disappointed
the m2ts should be the standard of blueray disk, so I do not understand the licence issue.
More I tried conversion whith ts2muxer and mkvmerge with no success, everything works on pc but the player
is not able to play the mkv, the fps was setteded on mkvmerge exactly the same of the m2ts file.
A friend of mine has a player of another brand, I will not mention which one, and is able to play all kind of files with no issues.
so
and

Have you turned off the header compression when using mkvmerge ? Maybe thats the problem. The player won't accept files with active header compression.

THis are my found to have a working mkv from M2TS or from a not working MKV
Tsmuxer demuxing option
When you open a m2ts or a not working mkv change level H.264 from 5.1 to 4.1 (5.1 is not supported)
you have also to record the original fps to insert in mkvmerge
MKVmerge muxing
Compression disabled in mkvmerge (option files check the flag compression)
Insert the correct fps previously recorded from tsmuxer
Audio AAC not supported in any way, easiest conversion to supported AC3 is with popcorn mkv audioconvert
it workrd with 6 channels too
Subs
use subtitledit to process the sup file created from pgs by tsmuxer to create a srt for the mkv
hope this helps
