    Unhappy Cannot setup Prestigo Remote Control

    Hello,

    Excuse me if I post in the wrong forum, but I couldn't find a forum especially for remote controls.

    I recently bought a new Philips Prestigo SRU 9600, universal remote control.

    The problem is that I cannot enter the setup.

    When I insert the batteries, the "Philips" logo appears a few seconds.

    After this the setup mode should appear but instead the remote control enters the "TV" mode.

    Maybe this is the demo mode, I'm not sure.

    But I can't reach the setup mode. So when the Prestigo automatically goes to TV mode, I still cannot do some setup, since pressing the setup soft key for 5 sec. won't do anything.

    I cannot use the Prestigo. Does anyone know how I can reach the setup mode, so I can setup my Prestige?

    Beacuse following the user guide doens't help.

    please help, anyone?

    Hi

    Im sorry but this Device is not supported in this Forum.
    From what i know, if you cant enter the Setup mode you should get in Contact with Philips Support or teh Retailer to have the Remote repaired/exchanged.
