BDP 9600 - Problems
Goodmorning!
i'm news in this forum and i come from Italy.
First of all there is a mistake in Italian language. In the firmware there is "ANNULA" instead of "ANNULLA".
Then this player (which is the best philips player) doesn't read .flac, .ape, .iso.
SO IT'S VERY LIMITED. IT'S INCREDIBLE!
Besides, it has a limit of sub folder.
I hope you update the firmware as soon as possible
I have paid 600 euro for a limited player.
I thimk it's good for video (but it should read .iso) but for audio has a lot of problems of compatibility.

Does it play subtitles (external) on MKV files?
I am thinking in buying one...

it can play external MKV subtitle in .SRT format...
but not for .flac, .ape, .iso.
to my knowledge, iso files are for disc burning, not likely to be supported.
and for flac & ape it's more commonly seen on MP3/4 or other audio products
