    Just silence...

    Hi Pete

No, unfortunately not. I still have the WAS7500 standing around, collecting dust. I try from time to time, all the same. The problem seems to be of no interest for Philips...

    Dear Rafal,

    Information as requested:

    -serial number of your station..............NW00752000261
-how long were products in use?..........Brought for Christmas 2009 till to date, although it was not in use for 6 months while renovating
-out of box failure?.............................No been working fine from New
-were products sent for repair?.............No, not had a problem up till now.

Wife got a 5 year warranty with Comet (no longer in business), but it only has WAC on the invoice as she got the WAS thrown in as part of the deal.

    Kind regards,
    Scottish_Pete

You need to go to this site. http://www.badcaps.net/forum/ It will explain all. There are millions of electronic gadgets failing around the world.

I have 2 wacs7500 one with the screen that just flashes and the other that I must POR (power off reset) unplug, from time to time and a was7500 which is slowing down. All these problems are symptomatic of the 5v power supply failing and the capacitors need changing.

    regards

    David
