Accessories for 32PFL4007T/12 Smart TV

I've just bought a 32PFL4007T/12 Smart TV which arrives next week.

As I wanted to maximize its potential I'm looking for some reasonably priced but effective accessories.

Can anyone recommend a good Webcam ( for usage with Skype) and a wireless network adapter to connect the TV to an Airport Extreme router for use with PCs and MACs please?

Also can anyone recommend any useful apps to download from the Apps Gallery please?

Any info would be greatly appreciated please.TIA.

Hi,

Skype is not supported on the TV model.

For WLAN you can only use the Philips PTA01 WLAN stick (or you connect via LAN cable or you buy a WLAN Bridge).

Apps: just look at the app gallery and try.

Thanks for that, Toengel. Apparently the PTA01 is out of date and does not support Apple products.

I was hoping to see what other users were using instead.

As for the apps I was trying to get a headsup of what other users found useful so that I would be aware of them before my TV actually arrived but you are quite right I will be able to try them when the TV actually arrives.

Just thought I would add that I was recommended the Philips WUB1110 wi-fi adapter which is about £40 from some outlets.

Interesting.Thanks for that, Toengel. I think it was a Philips member of staff who told me about the WUB1110.I guess even they don't know everything.Pity they did not simply make the TV more compatible with a wider range of products.

I agree with you and it is like you don't have a choice but to buy on the same brand.
